Well the wait is over as our favourite Desperate Housewives are back this September.

Gabrielle, Edie, Susan, Lynette and Bree return for the much anticipated second half of the fourth series, which we were cruelly robbed of due to the writers' strike earlier this year.

You would think that Tom and Lynette had gone through their fair share of trauma by now, especially after the tornado scare. But no - there's more trouble ahead for the couple as the reappearance of a family member forces them to deal with yet another compromising situation.

And for all those Kyle MacLachlan fans, there are more opportunities to check out the Hollywood heartthrob in the buff as producers continue with his naked sleepwalking storyline.

However it lands him in hot water with a heavily pregnant Susan and leads to a guilty revelation which puts the housewives' friendship to the test.

And we finally learn the truth about Katherine Mayfair's dark secrets. What has she been hiding all this time? And is she about to get what she deserves?

Meanwhile, Carlos and Gabby's new tenant Ellie is not all she seems to be. Well this is Desperate Housewives - what else would you expect?
